Brooks Rehabilitation is a company that “get’s it”.  They do an excellent job of using video to tell their story.

In this case, we brought our traveling video studio to their Jacksonville offices for interviews with both Brooks Rehabilitation employees and stroke patients.  It was a full day of information, stories, laughs and tears and we edited it down to a 6 minute testimonial video.

The purpose of this video is to explain all the offering of Brooks Rehabilitation in the Stroke Recovery arena.  Instead of using a script and professional talent, though, we were able to extract specifics from the testimonials and form the story from there.

Today, I met with my business advisor, Kevin Monahan, at the SBDC at UNF.  (Both are amazing by the way).  At this “business check up” we just chatted about business and focused on social media as a business networking tool.

Major tip of the day:  It is much more engaging for your personal facebook profile to serve as your business portal and have your business facebook profile (you know, the one that you ask your friends to “like”) be supplemental.  People don’t want to network online with a logo, they want to network with a face.

The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce is the 2nd largest in the NATION and the South Council is its largest council. With over 300 members, this group is filled with energy and enthusiasm. We average 60-80 at every meeting (the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month) and provide an opportunity for business people to network and make connections.

Now in our 7th year of business, I attribute much of our success to the importance placed on the Chamber of Commerce. It is our link the the Jacksonville Business Community.

Kennetic Productions has some great projects coming down the pipeline this month. We’ll post them when ready so you can give your feedback.

One of the projects is a repeat customer. I can’t stress how important customer service is in the success of your business. Good product + Good customer service = Happy, Repeat Customers.

This was played at the Chamber Annual Meeting and was a great way for the SBLY nominees to gain additional big screen exposure.

The video was shot in a spare office at the Small Business Center on the same day as their competition interviews. Less than perfect conditions blossomed a great video piece.
