Spring is finally in the air, and I am happy about it. 80 degree days, sunny, volleyball. It is amazing to live and work in a place where people come to vacation.

Kennetic Productions has some great projects coming down the pipeline this month. We’ll post them when ready so you can give your feedback.

One of the projects is a repeat customer. I can’t stress how important customer service is in the success of your business. Good product + Good customer service = Happy, Repeat Customers.

Last year, I was honored to be selected as the Small Business Leader of the Year for the South Council of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. This year, I made a video for the ‘09 nominees.

This was played at the Chamber Annual Meeting and was a great way for the SBLY nominees to gain additional big screen exposure.

The video was shot in a spare office at the Small Business Center on the same day as their competition interviews. Less than perfect conditions blossomed a great video piece.

The Brooks Rehabilitation family has become one of our best clients over the past year. We have done some great projects for them, and the Brooks Adaptive Sports Video is no exception.

Brooks Adaptive Sports is a program set up by Brooks Rehab for athletes with disabilities. If you have ever seen the documentary “Murderball”, they do offer quad rugby. The list of sports and activities is endless and it is a great way for those with disabilities to realize that life does not end the day of their accident.

The purpose of this promotional video is to educate the audience about Brooks Adaptive Sports along with gaining financial and volunteer support and increased participation.

Enjoy!

I was thinking of what to write this Wednesday and realized I have a board meeting tomorrow for the South Council of the Chamber of Commerce and don’t talk much about it. The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce is divided into geographic councils. They are like mini-Chambers. There is the North Council, South Council, West Council, Downtown…etc. When Kennetic Productions first moved to Jacksonville, joining the Chamber and beginning regular attendance at the South Council was one of the first things we did. Boy has it payed off! Not only have I obtained many contracts from both members and member relationships, but I’ve also met a bunch of great friends. A Chamber Council is by far the most effective grass roots advertising to be done in Jacksonville. The cost is nominal and the benefits are unlimited. Tips: regular attendence and involvement. I probably have about a 95% attendance rate and have been on the board for 3 years now. I’ve served as Treasurer, Program Officer, Marketing Co-Chair and Secretary. This level of involvement garners me exposure and I also become sought out by new members for advice. So…join the Chamber!!! It is worth it!
